Short description

Hardware/software to measure rate of weight loss as a function of time, temperature, and partial pressure. Gas product composition is monitored on-line by gas chromatography and/or mass spectrometry.  It enables the investigation of thermal and chemical processes at high temperatures (> 1000˚C) and high heating rates (> 1000˚C/s), with samples subjected to high-flux irradiation.
